This Agreement is a legal contract between you ("Subscriber" or "you") and MyCOLREGS.com ("we", "our", or "us"). By subscribing to or using MyCOLREGS.com's daily Navigation Rules email lessons (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
Subject to your compliance with the terms of this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to receive and use the Service for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

The Service is provided for educational and training purposes only. Where an email presents the full legal text of a Navigation Rule, that text is provided for reference and is not a substitute for the official, currently in-force U.S. Coast Guard Navigation Rules and Regulations. Any plain-English summary is a simplified restatement intended to aid memory, not a legally authoritative version of the rule. Do not rely on the Service, including any summarized or AI-assisted content, as your sole source of information for actual navigation, collision-avoidance, or safety decisions while operating a vessel - always consult the official Navigation Rules and use your own judgment.
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all original commentary, summaries, and questions, are owned by MyCOLREGS.com. This Agreement does not grant you any ownership rights in the Service. Verbatim quotations of the official Navigation Rules remain in the public domain.
This Agreement is effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by unsubscribing or deleting your data from your manage-subscription link. We may terminate this Agreement, or your access to the Service, if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully current with the latest revisions to the official Navigation Rules.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyCOLREGS.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service, including damages arising from reliance on its content while operating a vessel.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, U.S.A. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved in the state and federal courts located in California.
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
